The Conte Center is comprised of five projects at four different universities. The five Project Leaders involved have an established history of effective collaboration and use their complementary expertise and resources to take a multi-disciplinary and integrative approach in the proposed research. There is a Transgenic Animal Core, a Molecular and Biochemical Reagents Core, and an Administrative Core. The two scientific cores produce key materials and perform routine, yet critical, tasks that are required to accomplish the studies described in the five scientific Projects. The Administrative Core is a central point for communication, reporting and an archive for data and resources.
